With so much to accomplish during our field season, we're lucky to have their experience and expertise contributing to our work.

Soil erosion, off-trail usage, dog waste, and trash are just some of the visitor-created impacts Forest Society staff and volunteers contend with throughout the year. 

As tempting as it may be to stuff jackets and boots in the closet and head into the woods (or climb a mountain to view the upcoming solar eclipse), there may still be a mix of mud and ice on local trails.

The project will begin in mid-May.

Now, skiing in New England is starting to look a little different.
