Something Wild is joint production of NH Audubon, The Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests & NHPR.

A perfectly clear, 'bluebird day" greeted particpants arriving to hike with Sue Morse of Keeping Track at The Fells in mid-February.

The Forest Society plans to renovate the existing historic Carriage Barn at the Rocks as its new “Forest Society North” Conservation Center.

Support the Forest Society in February by voting online and we could win a grant from the Bangor Savings Bank Foundation's Community Matters More initiative.

October is often the busiest month of the year at Mt Major and particularly for the NH elementary and middle schools partnering with the Forest Society as we offer the autumn season of in-school and on-mountainpresentations we call our "Mount Major Outdoor Classroom."

Thursday morning I met 21 residents of Havenwood Heritage Heights (HHH)at the Conservation Center floodplain for a naturalist tour of the trails. The weather was spectacular- not too hot and not too cold, with a blue sky and warm sun overhead.
