After a restful nights sleep and a hearty country breakfast, travel across the street to the Rocks Christmas Tree Farm and select your very own fresh cut Christmas tree and decorated Wreath. The Rocks, run by the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire's Forests, has thousands to choose from.....you can cut your own or they will do it for you. Your tree will then be baled and tied to your car by their experienced staff. After you have found your perfect holiday tree, don't forget to pick up your hand decorated wreath as well. Their marketplace and gift shop is also available for scrumptious locally made food and handcrafted items for that unique present. If you choose to visit on a weekend, you will also enjoy a complimentary horse drawn wagon ride. Rustic and inviting 1 & 2 bedroom cabins nestled on the bank of the Pemigewasset River. We offer cozy wood burning fireplaces, 14 channels of HBO, many other channels as well as Wi-Fi (upgrade to Fiber is in progress!). Our screen porches and decks overlook the river and several cabins have kitchens or kitchenettes. We are open year round and are pet friendly. The property has two outdoor community fire pits and a small playground. Within walking distance to a water park, and a short drive to White Mountain National Forest and Franconia Notch State Park with endless hiking trails, a bike path, boat rentals, ski resorts that offer year-round activities, scenic drives, waterfalls, zip-line courses and performance theatres.
