On this history walk, you will be taken past several of the historical buildings and sites that make up this traditional New England farm, and be introduced to the Glessners, the family that founded and further expanded The Rocks into the property you see today.

Wildlife Watching
The Rocks is home to several species of native animals, from bear and moose to wild turkey, spotted salamanders, and countless bird species. Many of these animals, their habits, and their habitats are featured in our events and educational programs.
Photography Guidelines
Personal photography which will not be used for commercial purposes, and is not taken by a paid photographer, is permitted at The Rocks. All commercial photography requires a Special Use Permit issued in advance, and corresponding fee. Participants in photography sessions that are not preapproved or carrying a Special Use Permit will be asked to leave the property. Please contact info@therocks.org to arrange a Special Use Permit. Personal photography which will not be used for commercial purposes, and is not taken by a paid photographer, is permitted at The Rocks. Drones are not permitted at The Rocks.
