You're Invited to the Forest Society's Annual Meeting

The Forest Society's 123rd Annual Meeting will take place on Saturday, September 21 in Peterborough. The meeting will include field trips to explore our Monadnock region properties and a keynote address by Annie Proulx, author of the non-fiction book Fen, Bog & Swamp: A Short History of Peatland Destruction and Its Role in the Climate Crisis, and the Pulitzer-Prize winning novel The Shipping News.

5 Hikes Challenge Starts August 31!

The Forest Society's popular do-it-yourself hiking adventure will be back for its fifth year this fall with the theme of “We all belong outdoors!” The 5 Hikes Challenge runs from August 31 through October 31 and includes more than 30 unique and scenic walking or hiking destinations on Forest Society conservation land throughout New Hampshire. Members participate for free.
