A&E Coffee Roastery Creates Earth Day Blend for Forest Society
Forest Society Director of Education and Volunteers Dave Anderson made a visit to A&E Coffee Roastery in Amherst last month on the eve of the Earth Day. A&E Coffee Roastery created a special Earth Day blend of in-house roasted select fair-trade, shade-grown coffee beans and contributed $2 to the Forest Society for every bag sold, then matched that with their own contribution.
Anderson chatted with loyal, regular customers and friendly staff about the Forest Society’s work and nearby properties at Monson Village and Mount Monadnock. The generous Earth Day contribution by A& E will help to advance the organization’s land conservation and forestry mission.
