OFFICIAL RULES FOR BAG IT FILM TICKETS GIVEAWAY

  1. Sponsor: The Sponsor of this Campaign is the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests, a New Hampshire nonprofit corporation, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, licensees, successors and assigns (the “Forest Society”).  The Forest Society has a principal place of business at 54 Portsmouth Street, Concord, NH 03301, USA.
  2. Eligibility: This Campaign is open only to those who sign up by commenting on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/ForestSociety/photos/a.205213418491/10157671891768492/ (the “Campaign URL”) and who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry. This Campaign is only open to legal residents of the United States of America who are able to attend the film and pick up tickets at Red River Theatres, and is void where prohibited by law. Employees of the Forest Society (the “Employees”), and immediate family members or those living in the same household of Employees are not eligible to participate in this Campaign. This Campaign is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  3. Agreement to Rules: By participating, you (“Participant”) agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Official Rules (the “Rules”), and Participant represents and warrants that Participant meets the eligibility requirements. In addition, Participant agrees to accept the decisions of the Forest Society as final and binding as they relate to the content of this Campaign.
  4. Campaign Period: Entries will be accepted online starting on Monday, January 14, 2019 at 12:00 pm Eastern Standard Time and ending Sunday, January 20, 2019 at 11:59 pm Eastern Standard Time. All online entries must be received by Sunday, January 20, 2019 at 11:59 pm Eastern Standard Time.
  5. How to Enter: This Campaign must be entered by submitting a comment at the Campaign URL in response to the prompt provided. The entry must fulfill all Campaign requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to these Rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Forest Society. Participant may enter only once. Participant must provide the information requested. Participant may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent these Rules. If Participant uses fraudulent methods or otherwise attempts to circumvent these Rules, Participant’s submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of the Forest Society.
  6. Prizes: The winner of this Campaign (the “Winner”) will receive two tickets to view the documentary Bag It at Red River Theatres in Concord, New Hampshire on January 23, 2019.  The tickets have a total approximate retail value of $24. Actual or appraised value may differ at the time of the prize award. The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by the Forest Society. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except at the Forest Society’s discretion. The prize is nontransferable. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of the Winner. No substitution of prize or transfer or assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by the Winner is permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for the Forest Society to use the Winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
  7. Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
  8. Winner Selection and Notification: The Winner will be selected by a random drawing under the supervision of the Forest Society. The Winner will be notified by announcement on the Campaign URL within one (1) day following selection of the Winner. The Forest Society shall have no liability for the Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for the Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to claim the prize within two days from the time award notification was sent, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner selected. Receipt by the Winner of the prize offered in this Campaign is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY THE WINNER (DETERMINED IN THE FOREST SOCIETY’S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN THE WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AS THE WINNER OF THIS CAMPAIGN, AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS THE WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.
  9. Rights Granted by Participant: By entering this content (e.g., photo, video, text, etc.), Participant understands and agrees that the Forest Society shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the World, without limitation, Participant’s entry, name, picture, statements about this Campaign, and biographical information for publicity and promotional purposes, without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent.
  10. Terms & Conditions: The Forest Society reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Campaign should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond the Forest Society’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of this Campaign. In such case, the Forest Society may select the Winner from all eligible entries received prior to or after (if appropriate) the action taken by the Forest Society. The Forest Society reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of this Campaign or website or violates these Rules. The Forest Society has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of this Campaign, to void votes for any reason, including, but not limited to: multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by these Rules; or the use of bots, macros, scripts, or other technical means for entering. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of this Campaign may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such attempt be made, the Forest Society reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  11. Limitation of Liability: By entering, Participant agrees to release and hold harmless the Forest Society from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) Participant’s participation in this Campaign or Participant’s acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or this Campaign; and (v) electronic or human error in the administration of this Campaign or the processing of entries.
  12. Disputes: THIS CAMPAIGN IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF the United States of America AND the State of New Hampshire, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Campaign, Participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Campaign, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in the State of New Hampshire having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances shall Participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees, other than Participant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this Campaign). Participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

  14. Winners List: To obtain a copy of the Winner’s name or a copy of these Rules, mail your request along with a stamped, self-addressed envelope to: Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests, 54 Portsmouth Street, Concord, NH 03301, USA, Attention: Digital Outreach Manager. Requests must be received no later than January 30, 2019 at 5:00 pm, Eastern Standard Time.
  15. Facebook: This Campaign hosted by the Forest Society is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook.  Participant agrees to fully release Facebook from any liability in connection with this Campaign.
