Thanks to Sen. Jeanne Shaheen for stopping by for a tour of one of the Forest Society's key conservation projects in Madbury (and Lee and Durham), acquiring land and easements surrounding the Powder Major's Farm. The towns of Madbury and Lee have voted to support the project, and Sen. Shaheen, a Madbury resident, let it be known during her visit that she voted to support the project.
