Dear friends,

While there are obvious reasons to celebrate the merciful end to 2021, I find myself buoyed when I think back on how much we have accomplished in the conservation community this year.

Thank you for being so generous and supportive of our mission to keep forests as forests. I like to think that our work reflects a common belief in a better, sustainable future for New Hampshire and the world.

I hope you’ll take a few minutes to view this short slideshow of some highlights from our year of conserving, enjoying and caring for forests.

Thank you for all the ways that you contribute to our work.

P.S. I'm looking forward to sharing our progress on projects planned for 2022, including the permanent protection of Shelburne Valley Forest, which stretches from the shoreline of the Androscoggin River to the ridgeline of the Mahoosuc Range, and phase two of construction on Forest Society North at The Rocks. Stay tuned!
