OHRV ruts in muddy forest floor

On July 1, the Governor signed into law HB 1188, legislation establishing a commission to study OHRV use in the New Hampshire. The Forest Society testified in support of this bill. HB 1188 authorized the Forest Society, The Nature Conservancy and the Appalachian Mountain Club to jointly appoint one representative to this commission. We have named Paul Doscher, the former Vice-President of Land Conservation for the Forest Society, to serve on this commission. In addition to his work at the Forest Society, Paul also served on the Nash Stream Citizens Advisory Committee and the Connecticut Lakes Headwaters Commission.

The initial meeting of the OHRV Commission has yet to be scheduled but we will continue to provide updates as soon as it begins its work.
