Legislature Votes Down Proposed Detrimental Changes to the NH Site Evaluation Committee Statute

The New Hampshire House of Representatives rejected HB 1611 on March 17. The Forest Society joined our partners at the Nature Conservancy, New Hampshire Audubon and the Appalachian Mountain Club in opposing the bill. We want to thank all those who also contacted their representatives and the members of the House Science, Technology and Energy Committee in opposing HB 1611.
