John Rockwood’s Art on Display at Conservation Center in Concord

John Rockwood’s wildlife photography will be on display through October 12 at the Conservation Center in Concord, NH.

Through his photography, slideshows, and writing, this New Hampshire artist shares his insights about some of his favorites animals. Showing details that most people will never get to see for themselves, these photos feature wildlife from around New England and Yellowstone National Park.

Rockwood has always loved nature. As a child he spent endless hours exploring the woods around his neighborhood, and he knew the location of every bird and squirrel nest.

Rockwood has had numerous photos published in Birds & Blooms and Natural New England magazines. John also won the 2004 Auburn, NH photo contest with his favorite picture, “Nesting Loon.”

The exhibit is open for viewing Monday thru Friday from 9 am to 5 pm in the Conservation Center Conference Room at 54 Portsmouth Street. As the Conference Room is used for meetings, please call before visiting to confirm that the room is open.
