Ryan W. Smith

Ryan Smith is the communications manager and the editor of Forest Notes magazine. Before coming to the Forest Society, Ryan worked for the Appalachian Mountain Club as the managing editor of AMC Outdoors magazine and a graphic designer for The Trustees of Reservations. Ryan owns Rooted in Light Media, a creative services company specializing in design and photography, and co-owns Reel Quest Films with environmental photographer and videographer Jerry Monkman.
