Find nature-based and educational events at Creek Farm in Portsmouth New Hampshire

Creek Farm is a 35 acre forest reservation just a short drive from the center of Portsmouth. Once part of the 18th-century farm of royal Governor Benning Wentworth, this coastal hideaway borders the shoreline of tidal Sagamore Creek. The short trail around the property follows the shoreline past a canoe/kayak launch and a man-made tidal pool. Learn more about the coastal forest habitat at Creek Farm in this blog post: Living on the Edge.

What will you see and do at Creek Farm this year? We hope you'll join us along with local organizations as we gather and celebrate the natural beauty of this coastal hideaway. Check this page for the latest news and events or follow us on Facebook.

Past events have included: Birdwatching, Expressive Landscape Drawing; Kids' Plant Mandala Making; Land, Air, and Sea Series with Shoals Marine Laboratory: Exploring the Estuary with Dr. Gregg Moore; Seabirds with Dr. Jennifer Seavey and Marine Mammal Cruise; Gundalow Company Camp Visits (Read More Here); The Secret Lives of Gulls: Citizen Science with Gulls of Appledore; Practice Mindfulness in Nature with Korabek Training; Bats and Beer with Portsmouth Brewery and the Center for Wildlife; Owl Prowl and Wildlife Tracking with Center for Wildlife; Sagamore Creek - Explore Portsmouth's Hidden Treasure; Nature's Natural Bug Brigade; Sagamore Creek Kayak Clean Up.
