Volunteers Needed: Spread Christmas Cheer at The Rocks!

The Rocks
A volunteer carries a Christmas tree on their shoulder.

On the day after Thanksgiving and the weekend days leading up to Christmas, we are looking for volunteers to help sell pre-cut Christmas trees to customers who don't want to venture out in the fields and cut their own.

This involves untying and displaying trees for customers, helping them choose a tree and tagging chosen trees for customers, and bringing tagged trees (via dolly) to the baler.

Volunteers should be able to stand out in the cold all day (wear warm layers!) and remain full of holiday cheer, and be able to lift a tree occasionally for a short distance (to put it on stand, or on a cart).

Volunteering at The Rocks is a fun way to kick off the holiday season and support the Forest Society!

Start a new holiday tradition!

  • Dates: November 25, December 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, 18
