The National Climate Assessment (NCA) analyzes the current science of climate change and assesses climate change’s impacts across the United States. The Global Change Research Act of 1990 mandates the U.S. Global Change Research Program (USGCRP) prepare this report every four years.

The USGCRP released the Fourth National Climate Assessment in 2018 (read here https://www.globalchange.gov/nca4 ) and is now preparing the Fifth National Climate Assessment.  It is hosting a free webinar for people interested in learning more about NCA5, the importance of public participation, and how to submit comments on the draft report. No registration is required.
