A crew made up of Forest Society staff and volunteers was on site recently at Lost River Gorge & Boulder Caves in advance of the season opening to help get the boardwalk, boulder caves, and surrounding forest ready for exploration.

Lost River Gorge, in North Woodstock, New Hampshire, opens for the 2021 season on Friday May 7, 2021.

This special natural attraction has been protected by the Forest Society since 1912 as part of Lost River Reservation. Today, the portion of the property that includes the gorge is leased and operated by the White Mountains Attractions Association.

Advanced registration is required to visit Lost River Gorge & Boulder Caves in 2021: lostrivergorge.com
