Property Rights Issues Still Outstanding

On Monday Dec. 7, 2015, the New Hampshire Site Evaluation Committee met and voted to accept the joint application by Northern Pass, LLC, and PSNH for the 192-mile Northern Pass Transmission line.
From the Forest Society's standpoint, the SEC's action was disappointing but not altogether unexpected. As members of the SEC acknowledged, certain property rights are in dispute. The question is when and how those property right issues are taken into consideration by the SEC. The answer to that question is still unclear.
