At the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests’ 123rd Annual Meeting held in September, Amy Reagle Meyers of Jaffrey was elected as a new member to the Board of Trustees. The members also re-elected Allyson Hicks of Concord to serve as the Board Secretary. The Board of Trustees then elected the Chair Drew Kellner of Brookline, Vice Chair Peter Fauver of North Conway, and Treasurer Jason Hicks of Meredith as officers.

“Amy’s shared passion for our forests, love of being in the outdoors, and her fundraising and outreach expertise will truly be an asset to our Board and our organization as we conserve and manage a diversity of lands across New Hampshire with the challenge of addressing climate change and its impacts on our forests,” said Jack Savage, president of the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests.

Meyers has lived at the base of Mt. Monadnock in Jaffrey for 25 years. She ran a nationally recognized political fundraising firm and worked as an executive search and leadership consultant. Currently, Meyers is an etiquette trainer, chair of the Jaffrey Planning Board, active in her church and as a host mom for international students in U.S. boarding schools. She enjoys walking her dogs in the woods, riding her very tolerant horse, and sometimes enjoys the game of golf.
