Something Wild Podcast

Something Wild is a radio show hosted by Forest Society Senior Director of Education Dave Anderson and Chris Martin, NH Audubon Raptor Biologist, and produced by Jessica Hunt. Dave and Chris have been exploring the wonder of the landscape that surrounds us in New Hampshire for over 20 years!

An illustration of an owl in headphones with the word NHPR.From the many birds that call our state home to the trees around New Hampshire that have been granted "Big Trees" status to stone walls that perforate the state, we explain the behavior and science behind what we see and hear and might take for granted in our backyards.

Something Wild is a joint production of NH Audubon, the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests & NHPR. We recommend listening to it in its original format via NHPR but transcript of the shows are also posted in our blog.

You can hear Something Wild on-air at NHPR every other Friday at 6:45 a.m. and 8:45 a.m., or subscribe to the Apple podcast here.

Find the latest episodes of Something Wild transcribed here on our blog.
