Kaity Stanton
Regional Development Manager - Southeast
A native of New Hampshire, Kaity grew up in Manchester and graduated from Keene State College with a B.A. and double major in Communications and Film Studies. Kaity began her career working for an independent children’s book publisher in Cambridge, MA managing their direct-sales channel and eventually overseeing marketing & communications. It was her fascination with the power of storytelling to connect people with one another that took her from the world of publishing to the Sundance Institute in Park City, Utah where she managed theatre operations for their annual film festival for 4 years. After a career break to pursue the opportunity to live abroad in Switzerland and start a family, Kaity moved back to New Hampshire and settled in the Seacoast area.
Returning to her professional career, Kaity once again focused her energy on the nonprofit sector and community impact taking a role with Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Hampshire as their Special Events Manager. Most recently, Kaity has wrapped up 3 years with the Currier Museum of Art as Director of Stewardship and Membership. At the Currier, Kaity focused on building connections with donors and supporters by creating inviting and unique engagement opportunities, including the museums signature event, their annual gala. Kaity also oversaw the expansion of the museum’s membership program, ensuring greater access and benefits for its valued members.
Kaity is excited to join The Forest Society, primarily based at Creek Farm in Portsmouth, focusing on raising awareness for the organization in her neck of the woods.
