Brenna Woodman

Director of Communications

Brenna joined the Forest Society in March 2025 after admiring the organization for many years and occasionally writing for Forest Notes. She oversees the strategic communications efforts of the organization and each department.

Brenna arrived with a depth of experience in media relations and public affairs, as well as nonprofit organizational strategy. She is a past recipient of the New England Water Works Association’s Public Communications Award for outreach aimed at dispelling citizen concerns over water supply and emerging contaminant issues in Portsmouth.

Brenna holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of New Hampshire, and lives in North Woodstock with her beloved rescue dog, Athena. She is a town representative on the Pemigewasset River Local Advisory Committee and can often be found on the many ski slopes and hiking trails our state has to offer.
