Cori Caputo’s Watercolor Landscapes Showcased at the Conservation Center in Concord

Step inside the world of artist Cori Caputo and enjoy the magic. The Nottingham, NH artist’s fanciful watercolor exhibit, titled “The Magic Within,” will be on display at the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests Conservation Center from Tuesday, February 1 through Wednesday, March 30.

The exhibit includes a selection of 30 sepia paintings of some of the artist’s favorite places, including the forest and the ocean. Caputo’s paintings are filled with a lively sense of joy. Although you won’t see the fairies in her forest scenes, you will sense them hiding behind the leaves and high up in the trees, fluttering in the shafts of sunlight. In her lighthouse paintings, the viewer will find whimsical houses, dancing women, and perhaps a mermaid or two.

The exhibit is open for viewing Monday thru Friday from 9 am to 5 pm in the Conservation Center Conference Room, located at 54 Portsmouth Street in Concord, NH. As the Conference Room is used for meetings, please call (603)224-9945 before visiting to confirm that the room is open.
