The Glessner House in Chicago is presenting a talk on The Homes of Frances Glessner. In this presentation by museum curator William Tyre, we will explore several houses including several locations here at The Rocks (The Big House, her playhouse, and The Cottage) and how they reflected and influenced Lee through the years.

Come to the Rocks to learn how to identify and tap a sugar maple tree, enjoy a horse-drawn wagon ride through the historic estate, and take a tractor ride to talk with a sugar maker as they plies their trade in the sweet-scented steam of a working sugar house.
