Our popular do-it-yourself hiking adventure is back for its fifth year this fall with the theme of “We all belong outdoors!” The 5 Hikes Challenge runs from August 31 through October 31 and includes more than 30 unique and scenic walking or hiking destinations on Forest Society conservation land throughout New Hampshire. 

Save the dates for the next Monadnock Trails Week from Thursday, September 5 through Monday, September 9! Monadnock Trails Week is an annual collaboration between the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests and NH State Parks.

Forest Society naturalist Nigel Manley will lead a hike along the trails at The Rocks. All are welcome on this hike, and if you have or know someone with disabilities that make hiking challenging, we are also partnering with Adaptive Sports Partners of the North Country to assist anyone who needs it.
