New England is a special place – the fingerprints of both history and pre-history are impressed on the landscape. Join us for a thoughtful exploration of Creek Farm, where we learn to recognize how natural and human history intermingle at every turn.
In this presentation, Morgan and Chris will talk about the federally funded Cooperative Agricultural Pest Survey program and what it means for New Hampshire and the nation. This is a pest detection program designed to help protect American agriculture and natural resources. You will learn which exotic pests were targeted for surveys for the 2025 season throughout New Hampshire and why we chose those locations (including The Rocks).

Join Nigel Manley in Bethlehem for a workshop focused on the practice of pruning wild apple trees. This workshop has a classroom and outdoor practical portion at Forest Society North at the Rocks.

Women in the Woods is a collaboration between UNH Cooperative Extension, NH Timberland Owners Association, the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests. The Women Landowner Summit, part of the Women in the Woods project,is an opportunity for New Hampshire women forest landowners to come together, learn, build skills, and connect! This event is sponsored by the Alnoba Lewis Family Foundation.
