Join Carl Martland as he shares his love of dragonflies with us. Go to a pond or a stream any sunny day in the summer and you will see dragonflies and damselflies. His presentation will be filled with photos of the more than two dozen species of dragonflies that you too could find in the fields and wetlands near wherever you live in the North Country.

Following on the heels of the Oscar-winning movie “Hamnet”, this unique production, originally devised by Theatre Under The Stars in 2007, takes place soon after the death of his son Hamnet, and shows what happens when a grieving Shakespeare, his Queen, his wife and his mistress all end up in the same place at the same time! Based on George Bernard Shaw’s “Dark Lady of the Sonnets”, this madrigal musical features some of the Bard’s greatest sonnets, characters and songs (interwoven with actual letters from the time) in a witty, romantic elegy to love and loss that gives answer to the identity of Shakespeare’s “dark lady”--who has been shrouded in mystery for centuries.
