Join author, Abigail A. Van Slyck to hear about her newly published book, Playhouses and Privilege: The Architecture of Elite Childhood which explores children's playhouses built on British and American estates between the 1850s and the mid-1930s. In 1886, Isaac Scott designed a log cabin playhouse for eight-year-old Fanny Glessner at the family's summer estate, The Rocks, here in Bethlehem, NH.

Please join us for our annual maple-themed meal to celebrate sugaring season. Enjoy a four-course meal catered by local favorite Chef Joe's Bistro with beverages provided by Seven Birches Winery and Rek’-Lis Brewing and music by Dennis Cote. We will gather at the Carriage Barn at 113 Glessner Road in Bethlehem starting at 5:00 pm on Friday March 28.

As always this dinner will benefit the Forest Society’s work at The Rocks and throughout the North Country. We look forward to seeing you there!
