Winter Wildlife Tracking Workshop with UNH Cooperative Extension

Identifying and interpreting wildlife tracks can greatly expand your understanding of what species are using your land, and how wildlife respond to your habitat management activities. Join Wildlife Conservation State Specialist Haley Andreozzi and Community Conservation State Specialist Emma Tutein from UNH Cooperative Extension as they guide you through fields, forests, and wetlands in search of winter wildlife tracks and signs. You’ll also learn how to use wildlife sign to interpret wildlife behavior and habitat use.

This workshop will take place entirely outdoors at The Rocks in Bethlehem, so come prepared and dress for winter weather. In the case of inclement weather, the workshop will be cancelled and potentially rescheduled.

Register through the UNH Cooperative Extension site. In order to ensure this program is accessible for all, there are three registration fee options - $5, $15, or $25. Please pay what you can.

A Dog's Walk Through History

Creek Farm has long been a favorite local walk of the Seacoast’s dogs and their humans. Come walk and play together and hear about the companion animals that helped build our local history and culture!

This program is best for social dogs that are confident on lead and recall- as they must be on lead or carried while out on the trails, and some habitat restoration areas are near walking paths. See this page to look for quiet trails our shy friends would enjoy!

ONLINE Bretzfelder Park Winter Family Education Series: NH Forests - Past, Present and Future

New Hampshire Forests – Past, Present and Future

125 years of Protecting NH Landscapes and Landmarks

This is the story of the NH Landscape and Legacy. How has NH been shaped by the forethought and generosity of the people leading forest conservation and land protection success over the past century and a quarter – since 1901.

Can you imagine New Hampshire without iconic parks and scenic places: Mt Monadnock, Mt Sunapee, Mt Kearsarge, The White Mountain National Forest and Franconia Notch? How has your Forest Society worked to save state landmarks and more?  Imagine a NH without the work of the Forest Society!

Join us to consider how conservation of forests, wildlife habitats and recreation trails for future generations is core to identity of NH communities and economy.

RSVPs are appreciated but not required. Walk-ins are welcome; those registered will receive updates about any changes.
