Earth Day 2022

Celebrate the earth all month long with the Forest Society this April.

A group of hikes poses at the summit of Mt Major with the trash they collected.
In previous years, cleanup day at Mount Major has been a group activity. For 2022, the hike is self-guided, and the trash pickup is on your own, a DIY challenge.

Here are some of the virtual and in-person activities you can participate in to celebrate Earth Day all month long and support the Forest Society's mission to keep forests as forests:

Volunteer

  • Help plant Christmas tree seedlings at The Rocks in Bethlehem on Friday, May 6 and Monday, May 9. Sign up here.
  • The Forest Society's home in Concord, the Conservation Center, will get its own cleanup day on Friday, April 28, from 9 AM to noon. Sign up to help here.
  • Find more opportunities to help out here.

  • Register for one of the Forest Society's upcoming educational events.
