The Forest Society joined with our partners (read here) in support of House Bill 1649, legislation that proposes to restrict the use of PFAS in certain consumer products sold in New Hampshire.
After being amended by the House Commerce and Consumer Affairs Committee, HB 1649 passed out of committee by a vote of 16-3.
It then passed the full House of Representatives on February by a voice vote, indicating the legislation’s strong support.
