The New Hampshire Senate sustained the veto of House Bill 1454, legislation that would set in state statute a formula for determining the distance for which a new landfill shall be located from a river, lake, or coastal water.

The Forest Society supported this bill. We are anticipating that the New Hampshire Legislature will consider a re-introduced version of HB 1454 during its 2023 Session.
