Christmas Tree Farm Manager, The Rocks

Cameron Larnerd joined the Forest Society in early 2022 as the Land Steward & Volunteer Coordinator, after previously collaborating with the organization during his time as a Leave No Trace traveling trainer. His role as the Christmas Tree Farm Manager began in September 2022 at The Rocks in Bethlehem, where he manages all aspects of our Christmas tree operations. He oversees the cultivation and growth of our 32,000 Christmas trees, manages our tree retail and wholesale operations, and oversees our farm hand staff and farm volunteers.

Cam originally hails from central New York, where he grew up with a love of trees and nature.  He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resource Management from The State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY ESF), where he also attended Wanakena Forestry Ranger school and acquired an Associate of Science degree in Forest Technology.  Cam has spent several years in the recreation realm traveling all over the country and is looking forward to putting roots down in the North Country.
