In collaboration with Forest Society members and friends, Rich raises funds to protect land, support the Forest Society’s reservation system, and enrich the lives of all of us who care for the New Hampshire wilderness.
Rich was raised in Hancock, exploring the woods and wetlands around the family home, following his dad through the forest on trap lines, and climbing Mount Monadnock. He earned a Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of New Hampshire.
In addition to outdoor pursuits, Rich enjoys art, baseball, bourbon, history, music, poetry, science fiction, small town diners, and is drawn to difficult hobbies. He and his wife, Erika, live in Henniker with their two young boys.
