Linden Rayton

Linden Rayton, Forest Society
Floodplain Education Coordinator
Outreach Programs

Linden, a native of Northampton, MA, holds a Bachelor’s of Science in General Biology from the University of New Hampshire. After a brief stint as a lobster researcher in the Florida Keys, she became a teacher/naturalist and has stayed in the environmental education field since then. She has worked for the Hayward Shoreline Interpretive Center, the Cape Elizabeth Land Trust, and the Concord School District, among many other places. She cares most about helping people develop strong connections with their natural surroundings.  And yes- her forester parents did name her after the linden tree.

Linden lives in Hopkinton with her husband and two children. She enjoys family adventures near and far, bird watching, swimming and making music with friends.
