Start 2020 off on your best foot!  Join NH State Parks staff and Forest Society staff and land stewards for a 3-mile hike along the Parker Trail to the Little Mountain Viewpoint on Mount Monadnock.  You'll start the hike with a glimpse of Poole Reservoir and continue on following rolling hills and old stone walls as you round the base of Mt. Monadnock towards the Old Toll Rd. This hike will take approximately 3 hours to complete. For those looking for a more leisurely hike, follow the Parker Trail to the Cliff Walk Junction and back.

The Forest Society primarily manages this property for sustainable forestry, productive wildlife habitat, and other conservation benefits in support of the greater Dublin community. While all of our reservations are open to the public, this property may be difficult to access due to a lack of developed recreation features and resources such as signage, parking, established trails, and a detailed Forest Reservation Guide map.

Volunteers for Monadnock Trails Week just completed the 12th year of trail improvements on Mt. Monadnock. Volunteers worked with Forest Society staff and trailwork professionals to accomplish projects that make hiking the mountain safer, easier, and less impactful to the surrounding forest.
