Five Hikes in Five Weeks
Join us for five, fun-fabulous, easy guided walking tours at nearby conservation and recreation destinations convenient to residents living and working in southern and central New Hampshire. We are partnering with WMUR to help you discover places you can return to on your own to enjoy the woods, water and fabulous views.
“Five Easy Hikes in Five Weeks” will introduce participants to wild destinations from the Seacoast to the White Mountians. Walk along a boardwalk that descend into a gorge and take in a pastoral vista at a historic farm. Hikes also include treks to old colonial settlements and to the site of a former Chateau-style home, Madame Sherri’s castle. Each hike, guided by Forest Society staff and volunteers, will take place on one of the Forest Society’s beautiful reservations. Participants can come to one, several or all five hikes.
Pre-registration is required. The registration cost is $8 for each adult non-member and free for children under 18. Registration is free for Forest Society members. The Lost River Tour does not require a registration fee. Hikes will go on rain or shine unless thunderstorms are expected. Click below to learn more about each hike and pre-register.
