Story Stroll at Creek Farm: "Trout Come From Trees"

We invite families to come take a walk with us and enjoy our Story Stroll from April 22 to June 30 at Creek Farm. Story Strolls are free, family-friendly activities that the whole family can enjoy together and bond through literacy while spending time outdoors exploring our Little Harbor Trail. Our Story Stroll this season features the book, “Trout Come From Trees,” by April Pulley Sayre and illustrated by Kate Endle. As two children and their fathers explore a stream and its natural riches, a straightforward text explains how trout are made of trees — just like the bears and people who catch and eat the trout. The warmly hued, textured collages illuminate a down-to-earth, understandable story of a stream habitat and how we are ultimately all connected!
