Be sure to grab your spot, as this popular experience fills up quickly! Enjoy a sail aboard the Gundalow Company’s reproduction of the flat-bottom Gundalow barges that were once prevalent along local waterways. Our partners at the Gundalow Company built PISCATAQUA, a new traditional Gundalow, on the grounds of Strawbery Banke. The programs onboard PISCATAQUA weave together environmental science, history, and maritime heritage, providing a unique educational experience for students of all ages. The strategic decision to build a Gundalow certified by the US Coast Guard, means that, for the first time, the public can sail on a regionally historic vessel.

Location: Ticketed guests should meet at the Prescott Park Dock 15 minutes prior to departure time. The dock is about 200 yards away from the Gundalow Company Office.
