Once part of the 18th-century farm of royal Governor Benning Wentworth, the Creek Farm coastal hideaway borders the shoreline of tidal Sagamore Creek. The historic Carey Cottage, built in 1887, is newly-renovated and now leased by GoodWork, a nonprofit organization. The Forest Society Education Center at Creek Farm, also newly-renovated and formerly known as the carriage house, hosts educational programs run by the Forest Society, guided walks for the public, and summer camps run by the Gundalow Company.
