Bretzfelder Series: Walk in the Park

Want to see the forest for more than just the trees? Join us for an informative walk with local naturalist, Steve Sabre, to learn all about the goings on in one of our favorite natural areas. Steve will take us on a hike through Bretzfelder Park to point out various species of plants and animals, point out examples of wildlife activity and answer all our questions about the great outdoors. After this outdoor adventure, you’ll be the natural expert!

Steve Sabre is a local naturalist with years of experience leading guides and talks about all things natural history to a variety of audiences, from civic organizations to school groups. He is an active member of the American Chestnut restoration project. When he isn’t educating the public on anything from wetlands to mushroom foraging, he and his wife Laura can be found working around his farm, Breaking Wind Farm, or exploring the wild with their Labrador, Jasper.

Register: Free! Please RSVP so we can let you know of changes but walk-ins are always welcome.
